How much litter do I put in Litter-Robot?
Fill the globe through the circular opening with clumping litter until just below the raised fill line when spread flat—approximately 8-10 pounds (3.6-4.5 kg) by weight or 1 gallon (4L) by volume.
Be careful not to overfill the globe.
If there is too much litter in the globe, it can cause cycling issues (getting stuck during a cycle). If there's an excessive amount, the excess clean litter will be expelled into the waste drawer during the first few cycles. Since the waste clumps are removed during each cycle, there is no need to put excessive litter in the globe.
Purchase LitterHopper to automatically keep optimal litter levels in Litter-Robot 4.
LitterHopper attaches itself at the back of Litter-Robot 4 and automatically dispenses litter into the globe as needed. The LitterHopper can hold up to 13 cups of litter and is compatible with multiple litter types including clay and silica.
