Can I use the app with both iOS and Android?
The Whisker app is compatible with Apple mobile devices with iOS 13.0 or greater and Android mobile devices 8.0 or greater. Both the Apple app and the Android app are available to download.

Can I connect the app to multiple Litter-Robots?
Yes! You can onboard multiple WiFi-enabled Litter-Robots to the Whisker app. If others in your household want to use the app, they can simply download the app to their device and log in with the same account.

Will my Litter-Robot connect to my WiFi network?
Our robots require a 2.4 GHz WiFi signal. (5 GHz band not supported.) Litter-Robot 3 Connect requires IPv4 addressing, and is unable to connect to shared networks (apartment complexes, college dorms, etc.). Litter-Robot 4 supports either IPv4 or IPv6 addressing.

Which languages is the Whisker app available in?
The Whisker app is available in the following languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.

Why did I get logged out of the Whisker mobile app with the latest update?
Whisker’s mobile app team has rolled out a new authenticator feature as part of our efforts to improve security and privacy. To support the new authenticator and take advantage of the security and privacy improvements, we need users to log in to the mobile app again. If you’ve forgotten your password, click the “forgot password” button on the app to reset your password.

Why does my Litter-Robot 4 firmware automatically update, and can I opt-out?
To ensure that Litter-Robot 4 customers always enjoy the latest features and improvements, we will now automatically update the firmware on your robots as soon as a new release becomes available. If you do not wish to receive these updates, you can choose to opt-out using the Whisker App with the following steps:
- Tap Robots in the bottom navigation bar
- Select your Litter-Robot 4
- Tap the settings icon in the top right corner
- Tap ‘Firmware Updates’
- Turn off the toggle for ‘Automatic Updates’
If you disable Automatic Updates and then want to update your firmware manually, you can follow the provided Firmware Update Instructions. For additional details, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

If I already have an account on litter-robot.com, do I have to log in again when using the app to make purchases?
We offer single sign-on, which means you will be automatically signed into your litter-robot.com account when using the app. Both accounts will synchronize automatically. That being said, if you set up your app account and litter-robot.com account using different email addresses, this single sign-on will not work.

How do I access my orders and subscriptions from litter-robot.com in the App?
You can access your orders and subscriptions from the App’s bottom navigation bar in the new “Account’’ tab.

Can I pause my active subscriptions in the app?
Yes, you can pause any of your active subscriptions for up to a year. To do this, tap on the “Account” tab in the bottom navigation bar, then “Subscription Management” and then “Edit Subscription”.

How can I stay informed about my Whisker robot’s status and usage?
The Whisker app sends helpful notifications regarding the status of your Whisker robots. These messages relate to robot usage, robot errors, and software updates. We recommend keeping these messages turned on, as they provide information about:
- Robot usage: Drawer full, litter low, clean cycle complete, clean cycle interrupted, cat detected, etc.; meal dispensed, snack dispensed, hopper level low, and more.
- Robot errors: Critical alerts for hardware failures or operational issues, including motor fault, cat sensor fault, pinch detect fault, over torque fault, position fault, bonnet removed, dirty laser, and more.
- Software updates: Notice of when your robot’s firmware has been updated with a link to the release notes to learn what’s new. (Litter-Robot 4 only).

Can I opt out of marketing push notifications in the app?
We recommend staying opted in to marketing notifications to be informed about the new products, accessories, and promotions that may interest you and your fur family. If you don’t wish to receive these updates, you can opt out within the Whisker app:
- Tap Account in the bottom navigation bar
- Tap Notifications in the settings section
- Toggle off “Marketing Push Notifications”
