About Dr. Justine Lee

In addition to being a double board-certified emergency critical care specialist and toxicologist, Dr. Justine Lee is a world-renowned veterinary speaker, scientist, blogger, and author. She is the CEO and founder of VETgirl, a subscription-based podcast and webinar service offering RACE-approved continuing education (CE).

Currently, Dr. Lee works as a criticalist at Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota, and is a consultant for the non-profit ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. She is 1 of approximately 500 board-certified veterinary specialists worldwide in emergency and critical care.

Dr. Lee graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Animal Sciences, and then obtained her veterinary degree at Cornell University. She pursued her internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, which is affiliated with the MSPCA. In addition, she has also completed an emergency fellowship and residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

At home, Dr. Lee has a rescued pit bull mix named Milo and a rescued black cat named Luna.
