How often do I need to empty the waste drawer?

Empty the waste drawer when indicated by the app or the flashing blue light on the control panel. How often you empty the waste drawer depends on the number and size of your cats. 

For two average-sized cats, twice per week is typical. For a single cat, once per week is usually sufficient.

After emptying the waste drawer:

1. Ensure the bag is pushed flat against the side walls and bottom of the drawer.
2. Litter-Robot 3 only: If you use the Whisker app, press Reset Gauge in the Controls section of the app.
3. Press the Reset button to zero the weight sensors.
4. Press the Cycle button to take a new measurement of the waste drawer level.
