The store will not work correctly in the case when cookies are disabled.
I onboarded the Whisker app successfully, but now I am having problems within the app
- Problem: Unit went offline
- Solution: Make sure your home WIFI is on and working.
- Make sure your home internet is working.
- Make sure your device has a cellular or wireless connection to the internet.
- If the above does not work:
- Unplug the unit for at least 5 minutes. (Disconnect backup battery if one is installed.)
- Completely close the Whisker app.
- After 5 minutes, plug the unit in and allow it to cycle until the blue “Ready” status lights up.
- Open the app and check for connection.
- Problem: Loading icon just keeps spinning
- Solution: Completely close app and re-open.
- Problem: Not receiving fault notifications
- Solution: Check your in-app notification settings to make sure fault notifications are enabled.
- Solution 2: Check your app settings on your device to make sure notifications are enabled.
- Problem: Not receiving cycle notifications
- Solution: Check your in-app notification settings to make sure cycle notifications are enabled.
- Solution 2: Check your app settings on your device to make sure notifications are enabled.
- Problem: Receiving way too many notifications
- Solution: Turn off 1 or all notifications settings in the app.
- Problem: The gauge is miscalibrated
- Solution: The gauge is adaptive and learning. Make sure to only reset your waste drawer when it’s full. After a few complete full-to-empty cycles, the gauge should reflect your use conditions.
- If you have already accidently reset your waste drawer, don’t worry. The unit will self-correct.
- Problem: The app just keeps spinning and timing out
- Solution: Completely close the app (swipe it away).
- Check your device's internet connection.
- Open the app. Does your unit appear online?
- If yes, try the previous action that was causing the timeout.
- If no, check your Litter-Robot for power, and that your home internet is working.
